Registration is now open for the European Conference on Behavioural Biology, which will be held in Groningen this summer (July 20-23): https://ecbb22.wordpress.com/.
After a long period of restricted interactions, the theme of the conference is “All of Life is social!”. Come explore with us the many facets of social life, from proximate to ultimate mechanisms in a wide variety of species.
You can submit your contributions (talks and posters) to one of the parallel symposia with themes ranging from social foraging to animal welfare and from cultural evolution to epidemiology - or to one of the open symposia. For symposium information, see here.
Keynote speakers:
David J. Anderson (California Institute of Technology) on the neuronal circuitry of sexual and aggressive behaviour
Nicola Clayton (University of Cambridge) on comparative cognition
Audrey Dussutour (University Paul Sabatier) on behavioural plasticity in slime molds
Rose Thorogood (University of Helsinki) on social information and evolution
Peter Kappeler (University of Göttingen) on the evolution of primate social systems
Joel Levine (University of Toronto, Mississauga) on the neurogenetics of social behaviour
